We’re sending you a transmission from BOOM! Studios to let you know that we’ll be sending over Backerkit Surveys to you next week!
Be sure to keep an eye out for the email from Backerkit and if you don’t see it, feel free to contact at [email protected] for assistance.
Once you have access to the survey, you will be able to see what you ordered as well as what unlocked Stretch Goal items you qualified for. You will also be able to add-on additional items during the Survey period, so you can snag any books or collectibles that you may have missed during the campaign.
This is also an opportunity for you to update and provide the correct address for us to ship to. If you anticipate moving during this time or needing to ship it to a different location, provide that address now to avoid any issues with receiving things later.
The surveys will be open until May 2nd at which point they will close so we can start collecting data for fulfillment. We’ll follow up prior to that, to remind you to complete them before our deadline. Also we will be charging for shipping later in June when we are closer to fulfillment.

We want to begin by thanking the draddest fans in any galaxy who participated in this BOOM! Direct Reserve campaign, and welcome all of the new FARSCAPE fans that joined in the final 48 hours of our FARSCAPE 25th Anniversary Comic Book Celebration! Thanks to your passion, FARSCAPE is now the 12th most successful Comics campaign in the history of Kickstarter and #3 in the Comic Books subcategory.
In April, we’ll be sending out surveys to everyone who participated in the campaign through BackerKit. At that time, you’ll be able to add-on any items you missed during the campaign, finalize your shipping costs, and confirm your mailing address. We’ll check in prior to shipping any products and you’ll be able to update your address if you move between now and then.
Our Pre-Order Store is also up and running on BackerKit now, so if you have friends who missed out on the campaign, let them know they can still pre-order through BackerKit. Anyone placing a pre-order through BackerKit will still receive the benefit of the upgraded books, but the free digital editions and bonus physical items will be exclusive to those who participated in the initial campaign.
And because we came SO close to unlocking our final Stellar Stretch Goal at $750,000 during the active campaign, we’ve decided to extend this Stretch Goal to our Pre-Order Store. When we exceed an additional $66,848 in reserved orders through the BackerKit store, we will consider the final Stretch Goal unlocked for everyone which will add a free poster signed by Ben Browder and Gigi Edgley to every physical reserved order of $75 or more!
If you’ve already reserved an order through the initial campaign, do NOT use the Pre-Order Store to add-on items as it will create a separate order for you in BackerKit. You will want to wait until you receive your survey to add-on any items.

Raise a glass of fellip nectar, because today is officially the 25th Cycle Anniversary of FARSCAPE! We’re so zarking thrilled to be celebrating this milestone with over 3,600 FARSCAPE fans as we enter the final 48 hours of our FARSCAPE 25th Anniversary Comic Book Celebration!
We’re not the only ones celebrating this momentous occasion. Our friends at Shout! TV are airing a FARSCAPE marathon curated by stars Ben Browder and Gigi Edgley with an introduction by executive producer Brian Henson! Our favorite pop culture and science fiction sites like Inverse, IGN, and Collider are also celebrating the legacy of the show with retrospectives and interview.
We’re marking the occasion by releasing an interview question with creator Rockne S. O’Bannon that we’ve been saving. We asked Mr. O’Bannon what he hoped the NEXT 25 years of storytelling in the world of FARSCAPE looks like and this is what he had to say:

New Stretch Goal Revealed! Plus A New Video!

Frell yeah! What a fantastic way to end the work weeken here at the BOOM! Studios mothership!
We’ve sold out of another limited tier, crossed $550,000, and in doing so unlocked our fifth Stellar Stretch Goal, all while welcoming another over 400 FARSCAPE fans to our FARSCAPE 25th Anniversary Comic Book Celebration. That means that we’ve upgraded every softcover edition and every slipcase in the campaign, by adding Spot U/V to both. Additionally, we’ve also added an emboss to every slipcase, further enhancing both softcover and slipcased editions to add depth and dimension resulting in a truly premium presentation.
It also means it’s time to reveal our next Stellar Stretch Goal, which will be unlocked when we reach $650,000. At that time, we will automatically add the original FARSCAPE comic story “Backyard Barbecue” by Ramón K. Pérez to every copy of FARSCAPE Book Two. This story was originally published as a mini-comic included as part of the complete series Blu-Ray release in 2013. It has only ever been reprinted as part of BOOM! Studios’ 2014 Free Comic Book Day release, and never collected with other FARSCAPE stories.
